Join a Committee

Committee members play a vital role in our chapter. Volunteering is a great way to get the most out of your membership - meet and connect with fellow members, help build the chapter and industry, and become more rooted within our community!

Our committees include:

• Minnesota Star Awards: 

  • Participate in the planning and managing of the annual ILEA Minnesota Star Awards. Sub-Committees include Design and Decor, Marketing, Awards and Entries, Catering/F&B, and more.

  • To express interest in joining any of these committees, e-mail info@ilea-msp.org or talk to a board member.

• Communications:

  • The goals and objectives of the communications committee are to develop a cohesive branded message in tandem with ILEA International Headquarters by disseminating information locally, regionally, nationally and internationally. 

• Membership: 

  • Help recruit, retain and re-engage current and new individual members, organizations and corporations supporting the chapter. The committee also works to increase overall membership, member diversity and monthly meeting attendance and participation through various programs and activities.​

• Programs + Education: 

  • ​Plan monthly meetings by scouting venues and partnering with suppliers and sponsors. Work to develop programs that contain educational and networking opportunities for ILEA Minneapolis – St. Paul members.
