Discover what is hidden in your stars as we Unlock the Mysteries of the Universe and fulfill our Cosmic Fantasies. The 16th Annual Minnesota Star Awards will be held online on Friday, July 24, 2020. This evening of celestial opulence will include a ceremony to showcase the amazing work of this years’ Star Award nominees and honor the winners live. We encourage you to choose your own adventure and participate from the comfort of your own home or gather in small watch groups in accordance with current state regulations.

To enhance your at-home or intimate group cyber experience, Cosmic Kits filled to the brim with themed swag will be available for purchase for $50. These kits are meant for a single individual and are designed to make this a virtual event to remember and one that our ILEA-MSP community will be proud to put our name on.

The International Live Events Association (ILEA) – Minneapolis-St. Paul Chapter launched the Minnesota Star Awards to recognize outstanding professionals in the special event industry for all of the events they create, plan, manage and execute each year.

Suggested attendee pricing, per viewing location:
1-2 people - $15
3-4 people - $30
4+ people - $45

This event was originally produced to be an in-person celebration of our industry’s innovative and exceptional accomplishments throughout the year. We usually charge for this in-person event to help off-set the cost of hosting and provide some monetary support for our participating partners. The original ticket price for this event was $85 - $120. However, due to COVID-19, the in-person portion of this event has been re-imagined.

This celebration of our industry is too important to our industry to cancel, especially now. We have decided to move this event online, and make the event pay-as-you-can.

Producing this event still costs time, resources, and money. So while the event is free, we’re asking anyone who is willing or able to, to pay what you can based on the number of people you’re participating with.

Whether you can contribute $0 or $100 we look forward to celebrating with you on July 24.

Cosmic Kits will be available for pick up on Friday, July 24 between 12:30 pm - 4:00 pm at Quincy Hall (1325 Quincy St NE, Minneapolis, MN 55413)

During your kit pick up, enter through the main event doors and enjoy socially distanced Fashion Illustrations by Claire Ward and a contactless photo booth by The Brand Booth. Or if you arrive and would prefer contactless pick up, call 320.223.3390, let us know you're here and we will deliver your kit to your vehicle.
