The International Live Events Association Minneapolis-St. Paul chapter is pleased to offer a scholarship opportunity for one individual who wants to take the Certified Special Events Professional exam. There is one scholarship available for $350, sponsored by BeEvents.
What is a Certified Special Events Professional Designation?
The Certified Special Events Professional (CSEP) designation recognizes the best of the best. CSEPs have successfully demonstrated the essential knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform all components of a special event.
A Certified Special Event Professional has an established career supporting the live events industry. They have invested time and energy in gaining a well-rounded and comprehensive understanding of the various event elements and have proven they can apply their experience and critical thinking to all facets of a live event, regardless of the role they play.
Who is eligible?
Candidates for the CSEP Exam may qualify via three Eligibility Pathways. Review the pathways and see if you are eligible. Members and non-members who reside in Minnesota are eligible for this scholarship.
Scholarship recipients will be responsible to pay the $350 application fee.
What will the Scholarship Recipient Receive?
- A complimentary exam fee of $350 which is NOT contingent on a passing score.
What do I need to know about the exam?
- The exam is taken online anywhere in the world and is available anytime.

- There is an optional CSEP Prep Course available for all candidates (additional fee)
- If you receive the scholarship you must take the exam by a certain date
