Taking the "Virtual" out of Virtual Events: Attendee Engagement 2.0 (Virtual Event)

When:  Nov 17, 2020 from 11:00 AM to 01:00 PM (CT)
Associated with  Minneapolis/St. Paul Chapter
There are virtual events everywhere you look – and there’s no clear end in sight. You, like many, might be starting to feel burnt out from all of the virtual events and meetings that now fill your calendar. As we all continue to produce events in this virtual world, audience engagement is one of the most important indicators of event success – and one of the most effective ways to avoid virtual burnout. A live audience is different than a virtual one – they need and want different things out of the experience.

Join us on Tuesday, Nov. 17 to learn how to make your event stand out from the rest by providing your audience with an engaging and fun virtual experience. Amy Zaroff and Tim McVean will guide us through engaging, impactful topics like: planning for both virtual and live attendee profiles (and how they’re different!), ways to keep virtual attendees engaged throughout the event and ideas for keeping the in-person attendees engaged in a hybrid format.

We will be adding the Industry Roundtable as an additional 30 minute option at the end of the event.  Please feel free to stay online as we discuss hot topics on how we can operated meetings and events safely and offer creative solutions to each other as event professionals.
